Woodpecker Who Never Gives Up

Once upon a time there was a bird whose name was Woodpecker,

He was all alone in the jungle,

He had no friends and no home,

He had a long beak and size was small as comparison to other birds, because of big beak nobody used to talk with Woodpecker.

One day Woodpecker was searching for a home then while roaming from one place to another he found one nest in which there was no bird so he decided to stay in that nest and take some rest, but suddenly one bird came and ask him to leave, woodpecker requested that bird but bird asked him to leave.

Woodpecker left with a sad face.

One night there was fast wind blowing and woodpecker was searching for a nest so that he can hide himself in it, but as usual nobody helped him and threw him out from their nest.

Woodpecker almost given up and was very sad,

He was sitting on a branch of tree and thinking about all these things and started beating his head against a tree but due to his long beak he made a big hole in the tree, 

He suddenly noticed that he made a hole where he can live and spend his life.

Other birds were also watching him and laughing at him that woodpecker is thinking that he can live there, but now woodpecker is all again gained his belief that he can do something.

Woodpecker started decorating his nest.

On the very same night a storm struck in the jungle all birds were scared because this kind of storm never took a place.

Everyone hidden in their nests, but one bird's nest fallen down on the ground and bird got stuck in the storm and heavy rain made her feathers wet.

Woodpecker was watching that bird and in that heavy rain he went to rescue that bird and helped her.

Woodpecker took that bird inside his nest and when the storm stopped bird came out and thanked to woodpecker for his kind, generous and helpful behavior.

Other birds also thanked woodpecker and apologize for laughing at him and everyone praised for his innovative idea, to make a nest in the tree.

Moral of the story:- Never give up, keep inventing new ideas, keep trying and one day you'll succeed.
