Uppu Mootai

"Salt, Salt".

"I am here to sell you some salt, come take some from me".

All the family members gathered by little Sana as she climbed on to her uncle's back playing the game, 'Uppu Mootai'. It was a fun game where she relished being carried on the back and taken around the house. Sana felt as though she had won the world. Her uncle loved her so much. He did all those little things that brought smile on Sana's face.

One day, while carrying Sana on his back, her uncle gave out a very important lesson. He told Sana, "Labour is very important and should be regarded very worthy". "Life can be tough, labour earns a living for some." Sana could understand what her uncle was telling her. She had seen in the movies that workers get paid for carrying jute bags of different sizes.

Sana that day learnt the importance of labour and earning a living. From then on, she started playing 'Uppu Mootai' even more seriously. She thought that she was actually selling salt and would earn a living.
