The Treasure Hunt - Part 3

They decided to spend the night in the forest that lay ahead, the Dark Forest. It was called the Dark Forest because sunlight barely reached there, even during the day.

Macy began to collect small sticks to light a fire and Gigi collected bigger and stronger sticks to make the tent. Together they lit a beautiful bonfire. " We need something to eat," said Macy. Macy and Gigi began to search for food. Macy found two mushrooms, one of colour yellow and the other green. She was going to pluck one when Gigi told," Don't take them! Both are poisonous. One will make you laugh uncontrollably for your whole life and the other will drain your memory."

Macy retreated her hand.

At last, they found a tree of fruits. Macy climbed the tree and plucked six fruits. Suddenly, a snake came out from the tree and Macy jumped off it.

They both shared one fruit and saved the others for later difficulties. The next day, they moved on. They reached the Chocolate city and went to the king for a key that they had to collect from every level. Everything in the city was made of chocolate. Even the king was made of gingerbread.

The king opened the door,'' What do you want from me?'' he asked.

'' We want the key.''

'' Then you will have to pass a test.''

'' Okay.''

'' Tell what is my name.''

'' But how will we know that?''

'' I don't know. It is your problem.''

Macy became angry. She held the king by his wrist and told him to give the key. At this, thousands of soldiers came running towards them.
