The Rich Miser And His Goldbar

There was once a rich miser who loved money and gold more than anything, also he was very rich, but he was not happy. What he really wanted was a a beautiful bar of gold. So one day, he went to the Goldsmith's shop and traded a large bag of silver coin, for a gold bar. He thought the gold bar was the most beautiful thing in the world. He now worried, decided to hide the gold bar in his garden. Each day he would dig it up and enjoy looking at it it, then he buried it again.

One evening, the miser did not notice that a thief had entered his garden. When he dug up the gold bar, the thief was watching him. After he had buried the gold bar again and gone into the house, the thief quickly dug it up and the ran away with it. The next day, when the rich miser went to dig up his gold bar, he found it missing! A neighbour heard him crying loudly and basked.
