THE GOATHERD AND THE GOAT
There was once a boy who was a goatherd, and he looked after all of the goats that belonged to his father and two uncle. He was a good goatherd and, with his is dog, he was always able to bring the goats to the meadow to graze and to the stream where they drink. One day the boy saw that an old goat had wandered away to a different meadow. The boy sent his dog to go and fetch the goat, but the dog could not Bring it back.
The goatherd had to go himself, but the stubborn old goat was too busy enjoying the fresh green grass in that meadow. the boy shouted at the goat and tapped him with a stick, but the animal refused to leave. The boy soon become very angry. He picked up a stone and threw it at the old goat and broke off one of its horns.
Later, the boy felt ashamed and he tried to talk to the goat . He said 'old goat, please do not tell my uncle that it was I who broke your horn. "
The boy was astonished when the goat replied, "Don't worry about me telling your uncle, since your actions speak louder than words!"
