THE RED CAT

Once upon a time there lived a girl named Chloe. She was kind, beautiful and clever. She lived her life happily with her parents. The queen heard of this. She summoned Chloe to the court. She said "I have heard about your smartness. So I want to set a test for you." Chloe agreed. The queen said "I want a red cat" Chloe agreed and asked for two days of time. The queen agreed. Chloe now began to think for hours and hours to this strange request. Suddenly she came up with an idea.

The next day she went to the court and said " Your Majesty, I have the red cat ready with me but there is a condition by which you can get the cat." The queen agreed. Chloe said" My condition is : I will give you the cat in the thirteenth month of this year." The queen was dumbstruck!.. She was outwitted by a simple girl!. Then she said " Dear Chloe, I am amazed of your cleverness" and gave her a hundred thousand gold coins. Chloe was very happy. She thanked the queen and went home happily.
