The Power Of Dreams...

This story is based on the tribal areas of India where a girl wishes to fulfill her dream to be free or just to be her. This little girl’s name is Aplomiya (a.k.a Amli), but unfortunately, due to the stereotype mindset of the people around it was almost impossible for her to achieve what she wanted, but as the word Impossible itself says “I AM POSSIBLE”, Amli did the same. She suffered a lot because of the terrible traditions of tribal people which includes a big NO for education for a female child, nutritional taboos, and of course early marriage which force them to fulfill the most unreasonable wishes of her so-called family. Aplomiya’s personality was reserve and that she was very shy, but still gathered all her courage and ran away from her oppressive life when she was barely 12, illiterate and nothing in her hand except her shawl and a pair of glass bangles which her younger brother gave on completing his homework.

              

    She traveled all alone from Madhya Pradesh to Mumbai; knowing nothing about the journey where she was heading towards, to her luck she manages to get a job as a servant in a small family in Mumbai. She worked there for a long time and because of her interest and perception to learn new abilities, she learned Hindi and a couple of sentences of English also to deal with her life. This doesn’t stop her battle here.

                   The family where she was working tossed her out; putting incorrectly charges about her being a cheat. She wandered for a few days without food and money until she found a job in a restaurant where after 6 months, she was approached by a fashion photographer who offered her an advertisement assignment. She thought for few minutes and decided to play this gamble with her life, so, she accepted and moved forward.

                  Things started falling in right place and there was no looking back for Aplomiya. Soon, she became a noticeable model of the style industry.
