The Playful Gnomes

A very long time ago, a woman gave birth to a lovely baby.

But, some spiteful gnomes, who always ran about her kitchen, took her baby and put a baby gnome in the cradle in its place.

The woman begged the gnomes returned her baby but they laughed at her. Feeling sad and distracted the woman put a raw egg on the fires instead of inside the pot of water!

The gnomes, who loved to laugh had a good laugh, but this time, they took pity on the woman and returned her baby gnome.
