The Pied Piper of Hamelin

Hamelin, a beautiful town once faced many problems and difficulties because of rats. The rats were not one or two, but there were thousands of rats,who caused many issues. This town also faced Plague disease, which is caused by rats. 

All the citizens went to the mayor and political authorities of the town, and told that we have to free our town from this rat's problems.

Soon, this news spreaded in the outside towns, and a musician with his pied pipe came to help them. He told that he would blow his pied pipe and the rats will come with him wherever he will go , but he wanted 1000 gold coins in return . As he told the rats were mesmerized by his tune and followed him till the river and got drowned in the river. 

When the pied piper came to the mayor to take his reward, the mayor refused to give him a single penny, and thought that the rats would not come back to the town. The pied piper got angry and he decided to teach them a lesson. 

He bowed his pied pipe , and all the children of the town started following the pied piper till a cave. He closed the cave by a huge rock, but two of the children who were deaf saw this incident, and told their parents the whole thing. All the people of the town including the mayor requested the pied piper to give their children back, and the mayor will give his reward. The pied piper didn't had faith in him, but the mayor give him his reward, and the children returned to their home. 

This story tells us that we should respect and appreciate what one does and don't be greedy.
