Once there was a boy who lived with his mother in a small village. Their house was situated near a river. The boy would go to the river everyday and fill his bucket with water for household work. Some distance away from their house, was a big, old tree. The tree was enchanted and its fruits were very sweet. But that area was also prone to tiger attacks. In fact, a huge tiger lived in that area. The boy always wished to go there, but his mother won't let him. His mother always said," Child, don't go there. There lives a big tiger that will eat you." But the boy was very disobedient. His disobedience always led him doing mistakes.

One day, while taking water, the boy thought, "I should go into the forest. All I want is some fruits. I will just go quickly and come back." He put his bucket near the river bank and went into the forest. He climbed the tree and plucked as many fruits as he wanted. After sometime, he climbed down and decided to explore the forest further. So, he went on, deeper in the forest. When he was tired walking, he heard something roar. It was when he decided to return home. He looked around him only to realize that he was lost! Suddenly, a tiger pounced on him. He was very scared and started praying to God, "I have made a big mistake. Please help me. I will always listen to my mother." Then, a hunter came and killed the tiger. The boy got up and thanked the hunter. The hunter said, "I think you are a lost little boy. Shall I help you return home?"

The hunter helped the boy get back to his home. The boy's mother thanked the hunter again and gave few gifts to him. She scolded her disobedient son. Her son promised to obey her always.
