STUPID MICE CHIEF

Once a mouse was living in a house. There were also other mice who were living with him as he was the chief. The group of mouse were damaging the household articles. So the house owner was very upset wherefore he kept a pet he-cat.

So the group of the mice were very afraid of the cat as the cat was eating a mouse daily. Gradually tension arose among the families as the numbers of mice decreased day by day. One night the mouse chief arranged a meeting inside the store room and made a plan to play a trick with the cat. The mouse chief arranged a bell and told, " My dear mice friends you see this bell that I stole from the temple. I want it to be tied in the neck of the cat. Come on brave guys to do the needful. Because if it is done, when the cat, our foe, will come to hunt us stealthily we can detect when the bell will ring instantly."

After hearing such advice from the Chief all the mice remained silent. No one dared to bell the cat because of life risk. So planning of the chief was failed. So there is a proverb- Who will bell the cat- which implies that the ways of solution to any problem should be properly chalked out with perfect scrutinization otherwise getting solution to that problem may be impossible.
