Study For Life

Exams are almost there round the corner. But all Sara wants to do is play. ‘Imagine I could just play every single day. There would be no exams, no study. No homework….only fun….play ….& joy,’ thought Sara. But what could she do? She couldn't skip the exams or not study. She had to complete all the books too.

Just fifteen days were left for the exams. As Sara wanted to play, her mother, Saima scolds her & makes her study the whole day. At night when she goes to bed, in her dreams comes a fairy & tells her, “If you get up early before the sunrise and study at least half an hour, I will grant you a wish.” So daily Sara gets up before sunrise and studies for forty-five minutes. So fairy asks Sara, “What do u wish for?” Sara tells the fairy that she doesn’t want to study at all. Fairy as promised grants her wish. After that, certainly, she fails in all her exams. So no one respects Sara. As she grows older, she starts to look for a job. She travels to many places but couldn’t find a great job as she was not educated. She feels deeply sad about all this. That night the fairy again comes in her dream as Sara desperately remembers her. Sara tells the fairy about her plight. Sara tells the fairy that she has realized how important is studying & education. Fairy gets joyful that Sara finally realized her mistake & asks her for a wish. This time Sara asks her to grant a new life to start fresh all over again. As promised, the fairy grants her the wish. In the new life, Sara studies very hard. She is praised by everyone. She is the topper of the class. She is good at everything she does as she is hardworking & wants to learn everything. Sara passes all her exams with excellent grades. For higher education, she goes to London & then gets a very good job & lives her life happily.

Just then she hears “Sara, wake up dear. You’ll get late for school...get up dear….wake up...” Shockingly due to noise Sara wakes up & realizes it was all a dream. She tells her mommy everything. Mommy hugs Sara and explains to her really how important studying is….Sara agrees totally with Mommy & promises to study hard & make the second part of the dream come true.
