The beginning

It was the time between 1984. My mother was 3 years and my uncle was about 5 years and my grandfather was in the air force. He was transferred to Bengaluru.

He was going by train because his rank was not high my whole family started packing as the train was only after 3 days then his friend who was living just near them and he was a goods airplane in-charge so he came to his house and said that

"oh my dear friend why are you taking so much burden on you will ask my seniors and make your luggage carried by one of the planes going day after tomorrow"

"Okay if you are saying I believe in you," my grandfather said.

After that every day in the evening his friend comes to collect the packed things. The days were coming near and the things from the house were also decreasing. The day came there was a farewell party for them because they were living for many years there and was a friend of each one there.

All of them said they also want to go with them my grandfather said no also but no one listened to him and all of them were going with them. At the station, they were already late and they also have to check that their seat has been reserved or not if their ticket had been confirmed, and many more. At that time, he thought that now they will not be able to get a seat in a train because now the train has come on the platform and their seat is also reserved, but here comes the main problem of this story that was that the ticket collector has come to check the ticket and my grandfather checked his pocket but he couldn't find the ticket then he asked my grandmother that has she put the ticket in her purse by mistake but she also doesn't have then they checked in the luggage they had brought to the station but they couldn't find it there too then they asked the stationmaster that if he can help in anything but he said that

"I can't help you because your ticket was being discounted by the air-force station seniors. I am sorry and if I will ask them to send one more it will take more time so you can find your ticket in half an hour as this train is here for a longer time"

"ok," said my grandfather and ran to his house to find the ticket, but he couldn't find it there too and come back to the station disappointedly and said to the family, "I think that our ticket has been carried by the luggage" but just at that moment he saw one of his friend traveling in the train and asked her that will she send our ticket as a courier after reaching Bengaluru and his friend also said yes so they happily came home again.

Their neighbors offered them dinner as it was night now. They had left a small plywood bed. They borrowed a pillow from their neighbors and slept that night and my grandfather was tense and just decided to take the first flight to Bengaluru which is free of cost for air force officers and the next day he asked the flight counselor that when is the next flight, but luckily the flight was that day evening itself and now the journey to Bengaluru started

The next part will come soon
