Riddle! Riddle!
Mark is always and always confused and he wants that everyone should confuse like him! Mark loves to ask anyone riddles! But sometimes his riddles become the reason for him getting into scrapes and problems! How? Anytime he would ask anyone riddles itself whether it's anyone! He loved to ask riddles so much that he would read riddle books instead of school books and scoreless grades. Mark's parents were still unaware of the reason for Mark's less grades.
One day, Mark's cousin, Alisa had come to his house. Mark didn't even leave Alisa!
Mark: Hey Alisa! Are you intelligent?
Alisa: Of course! Yes!
Mark: I don't think so!
Alisa: Why?
Mark: I will get to know that you're intelligent if you answer all of my riddles correctly!
Alisa: Hmmm... I love riddles! I'm sure I'll ace it! But I have one condition!
Mark: A condition?
Alisa: Yes! Sometimes I've heard your mom saying to my mom about your undesirable habit of asking riddles! So, If I won then you will promise that you'll never ask riddles beyond the limit and will not ask only riddles or think of them in serious situations!
Mark promised Alisa because he was very much overconfident on his riddles.
Mark: Okk! So I'll write ten riddles on this paper and I'll hand it up to you. Then you'll complete all 10 riddles in 10 minutes! But if unfortunately, you don't know anyone riddle's answer then you'll get a bonus question! Answer the bonus question correctly! Your point will be counted! For the bonus question, you'll get 30 seconds and it will be the most difficult!
Alisa: Done!
Mark's riddles were as follows:-

• What becomes smaller when you turn it upside down?
• What word becomes shorter when you add two letters to it?
• What can you catch but never throw?
• What are the two things which people never eat before having breakfast?
• Give me food and I'll live, Give me water and I'll die! Who Am I?
• It's been around for millions of years but is not even more than 1-month-old! What is it?
• Which building has the most stories?
• What has thirteen hearts but no other organs?
*Bonus Question:-
• I'm first on Earth,
Second in heaven,
I appear two times a week.
You can see me only once a year,
Although I'm in the middle of the sea.
Who Am I?
Alisa started writing the answers. She completed writing the answers just in 7 minutes including the bonus question! She answered all questions correctly! Her answers were as follows:-
1) A coin.
2) Stairs.
3) The number "9".
4) The word "Short".
5) A Cold.
6) Lunch and Dinner.
7) Fire.
8) The Moon.
9) A library.
10) A Deck of cards.
Bonus Question Answer: The letter " E".
Mark read Alisa's answers. He was shocked at how someone can be so precise. He understood that overconfidence is always harmful. And because Alisa won, Mark had to give up his habit of asking riddles every time!
