Resource Utilizing

One day one Buddha disciple came to Buddha and asked for new clothes, he told him his old clothes are torn. Buddha disciples are not allowed to save anything extra for future use like food, money or clothes. Buddha wants to know what his disciple did with old clothes. His disciple told him he used his old clothes as bed sheet for sleeping, but after a few days, it was torn into pieces so he can't use them as a bed sheet. Then he used the same torn clothes for wiping the floor daily. After a few days, the threads started coming out and he couldn't use them for wiping the floor also. Then he removed the threads from the clothes and started letting diya for God. Now the cloth is thoroughly utilized and he wants a new one.

Now Buddha told disciples that now he achieved eligibility to get new clothes.

Nowadays people are spending a lot of money on buying clothes, accessories and other stuff without knowing how to reuse or recycle old ones. If you don't want to reuse them donate to the needy. Maybe someone who can't afford them can use them properly.
