Notoriously Naughty

“Chotte, since it’s Baisakhi today; I had done the work so efficiently, that we will surely get at least 100 rupees!” Badde said slyly. “What! What have you done! Don’t tell me you have stolen money from pitashree’s pockets!” Replied Chotte shockingly. “Stealing is a sin, but slitting the cloth is not.” Assured Badde. 

Badde and Chotte were the most cunning brothers and the most mischievous ones in the whole locality. Badde being the elder, always used to hatch the plans and almost every time they would both slip off. 

 “Tell me what exactly you have done! How are we supposed to get 100 rupees? I’m just fantasising licking not less than five Matka Kulfis in the evening! Oh, what a feast it would be and that too on such auspicious Baisakhi!” Blabbered Chotte over-excitedly. Badde looks left and right, and unveils the plot. He always had this habit of turning his head left and right, to ensure if anyone is eavesdropping them. “I have cut the pocket of the new trousers that pitashree got stitched last month. I knew, he will wear them today as it’s festival and he will surely slither in some money to buy those boring sweets for us.”

 “And how on earth do you think he won’t find out the cut made by scissors, Badde bhaiyya?” Interrogated Chotte. “Arey chotte, I have carefully slitted the left-sided pocket where he usually keeps money. I have made a cut in such a way that it seems as if a mouse has nibbled the whole pocket’s cloth. It’s an art, Chotte, you will surely master it too” Whispered Badde winking at him. 

And that evening, they got their reward. Both of them slurped several Kulfis at the chowk. A feast for being naughtily notorious!
