My Wettest Birthday Experience

My Wettest Birthday Experience

It was my birthday on 18 Feb. I was awake very early. I woke up and did all my chores. I was very happy and enthusiastic. I was replying to all the happy birthday messages that my friends and family had sent me. Mommy had left for her college and dad was on leave. I was taking many selfies and listening to music. I soon got bored. It was nearly 10 am. Dad had some bank work so we went to the bank. I don't know how I spent my time there, it was boring. When we came home we also bought some pineapples and coconut water. We had a yummy lunch. After the lunch, I listened to some music and was dancing to its beat. Time passed by, it was 5:30 pm now. I realised mom was about to come soon. So, I went to the kitchen and kept water for tea. My mom loves tea especially the tea made by me. The tea was almost ready and there was a knock at the door, I knew who would it be, it was mom! Dad opened the door. I became happy and served her hot tea and chips. We all enjoyed the tea. Me and mom went in the balcony, we saw the grey clouds. Cold air was was moving gently. We quickly rushed to dad and asked him to get the cake. But dad was busy with office work, he asked us to wait for 15 mins.

After 15 mins, it was raining lightly, but it stopped soon. Dad had finished his work, so we quickly sat on the bike and went to buy the cake. But we had to buy some toffees and some groceries. Unlike others, I celebrate my birthday with mom and dad. I was thinking to distribute toffees to my friends the next day. So, we got the groceries. But... It was raining very heavily, so we had to wait. The rain finally stopped!! We quickly moved towards the cake shop. We got the cake but we did not have a bag to cover the cake. As it was raining we had to cover the cake. We asked the shopkeeper to bring something to cover the cake. He got us a poster, we had no option but to use it. We covered the cake with it and moved on.

We soon reached home, all wet. We dried ourselves and opened the cake. The cake was alright. Dad took a few photos of me. We cut the cake and enjoyed dal makhani and chapati. We had a nice rain party and a birthday party. This was the wettest birthday experience..
