“Let’s operate the patient immediately so that there is no scope of second opinion or dependent going to court for negligence in medical services.”

With shaking hands and a prayer on her lips, she signed the consent form. Her father was sinking with each passing minute and the city burning with the communal riots, she knew her choices were limited.
