Manali Diaries

My daughter had been for 12 days adventure Base camp to Manali (Solang Valley) where she travelled alone for the first time..It was a big risk for us as a parent to send her at this age but...Thought of sending and she had an amazing experience where there was no option to say.

No...She had to do all things which she was scared of.. which included river crossing, rappelling, Rafting trekking for 4-5 hours every day through scary valleys...She got so much out of this experience. This was her first experience travelling without us.....She has returned full of confidence.. and explored so many things. That comfort—my own or my child—is not the goal.

Instead, all of this is about how to lead a happy life. And while it’s true that a happy life comes from positive emotions (like gratitude and compassion, for example), it also comes from having the tools we need to cope with life’s inevitable difficulties and painful moments...and we are happy she has experienced this and has exposed with the outer world new freinds, New activities .

Proud of you Angel and congratulations on your success...This 12days we will never forget and am sure you will cherish them throughout your life...
