Let Me Prank You

The doorbell rung. Once, twice; "Who could that be at 9pm in a freezing night" Divya whispered and tried to go towards the door in awkward steps. It was tough for her to move as she fell from the staircases last night! The chilled winter darkness seemed to catch a different impact on her. Shady night, the silence of still ceramics, continuous ring on the door. She tried to peep. No one was there. She lost her nerves; finally dared open the door.

"Oh my god! Jiya. You here?It's so good to see you". Divya jumped and hugged her. Soon she realised, Jiya looked different from the other days. Calm, focussed and drenched. She ignored and thought her to be tired. "Winter falls are unusual right. I mean it bothers me a lot u see" Divya tried to break the awkward silence and took Jiya to the sofa. She asked Jiya to change into something comfortable. Jiya sat expressionless as past, motionless as dead, pale as gone. Divya couldn't ignore it anymore, "is everything alright dear. You seem anxious". Jiya looked down and finally uttered "Bring me a cup of coffee". "Coffee? Yeah sure. You go upstairs and change yourself I will bring you the coffee within a while", Divya replied and moved to the kitchen. She dared not turn back. After her departure Jiya stood almost breathless. She took out her phone and dialed a number "We got her! we have got her. Are you guys recording, she thought I'm a ghost, silly girl.  

What? What do you mean you guys aren't shooting? What is this Raghav you stayed down just to buy a cigar packet? Ridiculous dude! Okay fine. Come soon, I can't play anymore. She's frightened". Jiya cut the call and made a walk to the upstairs. " Oh my god! who is this lying on the stairs. Divya is in kitchen. There is no maid at home. Who could be this, " Jiya whispered and slowly moved towards the girl. She turned her around "Aaaaaaaaaaa"!!
