Jawaharlal once said, "The biggest sin the world, is the fear. Once the person has fear in him, rest all bad habits go into him".

Fear is the state of mind which makes you think that, in the situation will be worst than what is now. Is it easy to overcome fear?

Think you are in the following scenarios and then judge.

A lone soldier hiding behind the boulder. On the other side, there are four enemy soldiers. A soldier checks his rifle. He knows if he stands up to the fire, the enemy will surely see him and he has only one chance to fire first. At that time, his mind thinks what if the rifle does not shoot? This is fear.

A spy living in the enemy country. Each time he thinks, what if my cover is blown up? This is fear.

You know martial arts, but one day a huge robber demands you to give money, that too on a lonely road. You know, when you need to punch above your weight, it must be the last punch. There is a dilemma, what if the robber withstand my punch and hurt me back with the knife? This is fear.

Now how to overcome this fear?

If each one of them makes a firm resolve, the fear vanishes as in the below scenario

If the soldier thinks, in no case, I will allow enemy soldiers to escape. If my rifle doesn't shoot I will charge with the bonnet. There are only two cases. If the rifle fires, I will kill all the enemies. If it does not, at least I will kill at least one and they will kill me. In either case, I will get a medal. His fear vanishes.

If the spy thinks before the enemy catches me, I will vanish in the night. If the death comes before I accomplish my objective, I will dodge even death. The fear vanishes.

If the martial artist thinks, if my one punch fails, I will punch him again. I will not simply perish without the fight. There goes the fear.

By thinking the positive and keeping the negative away, you can control fear.

Always remember this, "The only way to end the fear, is to face it".
