Munni was a little girl. She lived in a middle-class family. She was very naughty and was always in the world of books. She loved books and lovely stories. Her books would get over in a week. She loved to travel. She had visited the monuments of India and knew interesting facts about them. She was curious to learn everything.

Exams were over and the school had planned to take students for a hike. For now, let's name the place 'green lands'. It was very green. The school gave the students a notice but the fee for the trip was ₹4000. It was home time! She sat on her bus and started to think if her parents would allow her to visit the green land. She reached home and had her brunch. She showed to notice to her mommy. She had a smile on her face and said " Munni, I will talk to your dad about this and tell you about this." Munni nodded.

Dad came from the office, Munni was there to welcome him. Her dad hugged her and went to wash his face. He came to the hall where Munni was sitting with the notice in her hand. She showed it to dad and dad said 'I will discuss with your mom and tell you.' Munni agreed and nodded. It was time for Chota Bheem, so she was watching the TV. Mom and dad were in the next room beside the hall. Munni could hear her mommy and dad talking about the trip.

Dad- 'I think she should go because it's hiking and it will keep her fit.'

Mom- You are right, but what if she gets lost from the group? What if she has a problem. I won't be with Munni.

Dad- hmm. That's true though. Dad thought for a bit. And said, "we can send her if she takes care of herself and follows rules given by the guide and the teacher".

Mom- I agree!

Mom and Dad walked towards the hall. I was still watching Chota Bheem. They told me that I was going!!! I was happy and enthusiastic. The picnic was after a week.

After 4 days, Dad bought all the picnic essentials and the groceries. Mom also removed a bag for me, as the picnic was for 3 days. I packed my clothes in advance. Finally, it was picnic day and we had to reach school at 8:00 am sharp. So I woke up early and got ready. Dad dropped me at school. Munni reached school and settled down. The teacher told them to have some light snacks and go to the washroom, before the picnic. The bus arrived. I happily sat on the bus and waved Dad goodbye.
