I Promise to deliver - Sky is the limit !

Election manifesto is the most misguided document that all political parties publish and bring out, just before the elections, to highlight the action plan of ambitious governance if voted to power !

All tall promises, all assurances, and all do's (we will do this, we will do that, we will change the world, etc.)

This reminds me of old hindi romantic duet songs with highly imaginative lyrics where the hero, while expressing his love to the heroine, promises to bring the moon, to pluck the stars from the sky, to stop the sun from rising and so on & so forth. The heroine, in the process, gets carried away and is on cloud 9 !

There is a proverb in hindi which translated in english means, "you cannot fill the stomachs of people with tall talk and tall promises" !!
