Day 1: 25th March, 2020
Day 1: 25th March, 2020
Dear Diary,
Let me tell you something: Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi is definitely a genius. His 21 day Lockdown has been highly appreciated by many, but obviously there are always others who just want to find shortcomings in everything. Yes, it is going to be challenging, with many people complaining to no end- but I am sure India as a nation will emerge much stronger out of this, and much more united.
21 day lockdown means 21 new opportunities. Each day is like a gift we have received. We have time on our hands which we earlier didn't have the luxury of. Students were busy studying, preparing for exams, adults working in all areas of life. Very few had the privilege to actually enjoy life as they wanted.
But now is the chance. Now is the chance to read the book that you bought but never really got the chance to read. Now is the time to learn to cook your favour
ite momos, doughnuts or just your basic dal chawal. Now is the time to spend some memorable moments with your family. Now is the time to binge-watch that amazing series that you always wanted to, but couldn't because you didn't have that much time.
Now is the time which you can give to your hobby- paint a 100 pictures, sing and dance like no tomorrow, play those board games with your family, learn some new card tricks and leave everyone astounded, catch up with those friends whom you lost touch with.
So I have decided, I am not going to throw away this opportunity which I have fortunately received. I am going to make the most of everyday. Everyday, I am going to make myself useful and not just sleep and eat. And before sleeping, you my friend are going to hear all about my day. And I promise you, at the end of these 21 days, you are going to be so proud of me.
