Cyson Wellington: How I found a lost agent - CHAPTER 2

So as I was saying... I jumped into that pink portal, with the help of the clues (read chapter 1 first) and guess what did I see? I saw myself in an enchanted land, with... Umm... Lemme just describe it properly:-

As I appeared in it, it had yellow and black grass all over it, with tulip flowers grown in pink color! Then it had multi-colored birds, like kingfishers which were flying round and round to something. Big bushes were surrounding me in circles and trees were the size of my thumb.

'What is going on?' I thought. Just then, my eyes were caught by a gleaming brownish item behind the bushes, where the birds were constantly surrounding. Curious, I went to the place where the birds were circling and I found a wooden table lying over there! It was a small table, not a huge one and it had a box on it. Cautiously, I went to that box and opened it and found a note with a sparkly red button inside it. The note said, 'Sserp Eht der nottub'. I tilted my head and chewed my nail curiously. This looked like a code language to me, and I wasn't too good in unveiling these. I read the note thrice when it suddenly came to me and I quickly pressed the red button. You would be asking why? Cause it was written in gibberish! Then you'd be asking what logic did I use? I rearranged the letters again and I saw that it was jumbled up. See, 'Sserp' written backwards would be 'Press' and similarly check the other words of the sentence, so it makes, 'Press the red button'. Now, going back to the story, the moment I pressed the button, the birds flying above stopped, and perched on the table. Then their brown magnificent eyes turned blue, and their eyes opened up a small air I-Pad in which

I suddenly found myself communicating through a video call to Merchanda (Read chapter 1 to know who she is). "Hey Cyson! Good to see you after so many years! How're you?" I was still a little startled. "Umm... I... am...umm..." Merchanda understood my curiousness and started to explain. "Listen, M.M.P is a super secret department. We cannot afford anyone to have M.M.P's secrets. That's why, every communication or meeting with any member of M.M.P happens through some mysterious paths. That's why we kept that red button for you to communicate with us." That made sense. "Nice. Good job. But what about that sea-weed looking submarine clues, and that box kept for me at the table?" Merchanda eyed me curiously. "What are you talking about? I only told our pilot to drop you near the button on the table... and I never kept the red button in any box." I tilted my head again. As I was about to say something, Merchanda grinned to her self and slapped her forehead. "Oh! Nice I understand. It must be Professor Quantrums doing."

"Professor... who?" "Professor Quantrums. He's the most experienced and expert scientist at M.M.P and is the one who helped me create it first. He has created all the mystery portals of all the fantasy lands and has helped me with almost every mystery and choosing scientists. Having been so perfect, he can't stand inexperienced people. I had already told him about you and he was like, 'Trust is not everything, Merch! You should have tested her skills before letting her work in M.M.P'. That's why he must have secretly scheduled tasks for you, to test whether you can pass them or not", she explained. "And I passed them!", I cheerfully added. She grinned to me and nodded. "Mm-hmm. That's why now my trust grew even more on you. You're the perfect person for this mission!." As I was going to say something in appreciation for me again, her face grew serious, and so I stopped. I pricked my ears so I could listen better and carefully. "Listen Carefully Cyson. Although our support team will definitely be keeping an eye on you, but still you've to be very cautious.

Lacy too went alone and now she's stuck somewhere. And I have goosebumps that she's somewhere where if we reach late for help, there could be trouble. You're understanding me, right?" I nodded my head and a strange comforting shiver ran through my body. "But how'll I reach Erin? And from where will I find Lacy? Where will I start looking? Will a squad be joining me?", I asked all those questions to her at once. She smirked to herself and giggling, she replied, "First answer, a motorboat will be picking ya up. They'll take you to the north of the Kneecap river, and will give you a small chit, which will only open once you've swam the other island, its only 2 miles away from the center of the lake, so I'm sure the swimming gear would be enough. Second thing, If we knew from where to start to find Lacy, we wouldn't have asked you to do this job." If you ask me, that was a bit rude of Merchanda, but anyways. "You'll have to focus on the navigations there, I mean the nature there. Its the only source you can use to start looking in the right direction.", she continued.

"Yep, a group of young scientists would be joining you... Once you scan the chit on the other island's portal. They're five amazing people. And they already work in a mystery institute. Its, the I.I.S, I 'm sure you must have heard about it, they work with Will Mystery. Colette, Pamela, Paulina, Violet, Nicky are the youngsters. They're just like you, Ci, so you don't even need to worry. They've already solved a 'lost mystery' like this, and I'm sure together you all will be able to find Lacy. Good luck!" Before I could say anything, the screen went away and the birds flew. I was so so excited that I could just scream! I had read a lot of the 'Thea sisters' and I'm sure you must have read about them too! I couldn't believe that they were going to join me! Then I shuttered my thoughts out and started walking, looking for the motorboat that was supposed to pick me up. 'A motorboat works in rivers. That means I'll find the motorboat in a water body. Which concludes that first I'll have to find the water body.' I thought. So I started searching a river or a stream when I heard the noise of a waterfall. I excitedly ran towards the direction from which the voice was coming from.

Each time I took a step near it, the noise grew bigger. After running some distance away, I finally spotted the waterfall! But looking at its depth, I started to grow dizzy. I stood on its bank and waited 10 minutes there to spot any motorboat when I finally heard the rumbling of an engine. My excitement grew again and I impatiently waited for the motorboat to come nearer. Then I suddenly spotted a motorboat near the shore, parked. I ran towards it, expecting to find somebody in... but I saw that it was empty. There was again a pamphlet lying in it. I quickly opened that pamphlet and it was written, 'Wear the gear kept in this motorboat's storage and have a seat. It's coded, so run the accelerator and it will go north to the Kneecap river, where you'll find another chit in the motorboat. Then you'll find swimming gear in the store too and you have to swim to the other island, where once you reach, you've to scan that chit to the portal, and you'll meet the Thea sisters. Over'.

I understood everything and quickly wore the motorboat gear and ran the accelerator where it headed straight to the waterfall! I screamed, thinking that this motorboat's system might have gotten the wrong command! But it safely got me to the down side of the waterfall and the rest is an amazing part!
