Chapter-4- Joe and Hoplophobia

Joe was at his bed surfing through the channels on his television. Maybe due to his tiresome day at work he fell asleep unknowingly. He woke up suddenly by a deafening sound.

He woke up with a startle, feeling confused and he tried to regain composure. With his adrenaline rush, both fear and emotions turmoiled. He looked at the television which added more to his misery. The channel had some action movie with people shooting each other.

He began to sweat extremely bad with fresh beads of perspiration trickling down all over his body and he was drenched. He could feel his heart palpitations rising rapidly, his mouth stammered for words. With a rising discomfort he began to lose consciousness. He was a victim of Hoplophobia.
