Betal's Shadow

"Vikram, you wanna know something that I have learnt in recent times?" Betal asked to Vikram.

Vikram had no other option but to agree. "You know, I will leave your back in Kaliyug." Betal declared.

"Why? I thought you are loving the ride. And annoying me." Vikram joked.

"Yeah I do but in Kaliyug, somebody else would take my place, and not just you but everyone will carry it with their own consent," Betal said.

"Oh.....What is it Betal?" Vikram asked.

"People won't be able to live without it. Then it would talk, they would want it to stop but when it stops, they'll panic and want it to start. It will know everything, every secret." Betal added.

"I don't believe you. You are just saying rubbish. If it's true then why don't you tell me what is it?" Vikram demanded.

"It is true, you will see. It will me but lighter in weight. They will call it 'smartphone' Vikram. You can say it will be a shadow," Betal replied. "You'll see Vikram."
