A big fat lady wearing a beautiful fancy hat on her head and a big red purse hanging from her left hand enter the castle's gate. The saree she is wearing has vibrant colors in it and anyone can say by looking the way she is handling the saree that she don't know to drape a saree at all. She is not comfortable in it as her expression made it clear. Anyway lets be real and get back into reality everyone. The lady is our English teacher Miss Brigansa and the castle is not a castle, of course, its our huge school gate. Miss Brigansa knew dutch and English languages. She came last year from England to visit her niece's house. Her neice is none other than our principle Mrs Roseline Taylor. I studied in a Christian missionary school. Miss Brigansa took our English lessons as a temporary English teacher on behalf of Mrs Frida Richmond. Mrs frida has taken a maternity leave for few months.

We no doubt respect Miss Brigansa but sometimes make fun of her when she is away from our class or she is busy on call. She always try to dress up in bright color sarees and dresses to impress Mr Rajat bose who is our history teacher. She is very fond of Bengali sweets like rosogolla, kheerkadam, etc I used to bribe her with sweets to get some english story books. Once in class she told that she has brought many story books from her home England because she loves to read books and I myself being a big bookworm I bribed her to get some books.

Once she caught me reading the same story book in class she was reading the last week and told me that she already knew the reason for bribing her but she will not complain about it to our principle. She is a lovely and lively person whom i have ever mate and known. She is very cool when we ask her about her boyfriends and affairs and at the same time she is sometimes strict when anyone does mischieves in class. She never scolded us on not doing classworks nor supported us when we have done something wrong.

She always takes stands for students when any other subject teachers blame us for his or her mistake. She always helped me when i asked her. Not only me she also helped others. Somedays i saw she is sharing her lunch with the servants and the security guards of our school. She celebrated her birthday with us. She invited us at her home and made us introduce to her little petdog Jeremy and pet cat coco. She is a good cook also. She made delicious cookies and dinner for us when we visited her house (niece's house). Such lovely and cute pets she had. I learnt many small small things from her. She will always be my idol.

The day she left our school the whole school accompanied her to her car. She was warmly greeted with cards and bouquets. I gave her a single rose so that she can remember me and my small gift forever. I took her number and sometimes call her when i need some help or her suggestions. She loved me like her elder daughter. Miss Brigansa is very fond of another thing which is talking so she shared her email with me. On email we had small conversations regarding studies etc. On every teacher's day I wished her and on every children's day she wished me. Her blessings and showers of love makes me confident each and every single day. She is like my mother to me. I can proudly say "Happy Teacher's Day, Miss Brigansa". A very important person after my mother and father. She will always be an incredible person for me.
