Another Memorable Day

It was another ordinary day, or so I thought. I had just woken up from my deep sleep about scrumptious food like fish. What abruptly woke me up were the loud and thunderous snores of the two similar freckled faces and hair as black as crow. With eyes almond shaped and a smile that could extend to their ears. Yes, these people I described were the notorious twins, my owners. And yes, I was a cat with green, cunning eyes and my fur grey and so soft that you could die. I lived in a family of four, two irritating yet adorable twins, their parents both fun-loving, adventurous and kind with no greed in their life. I guess these people knew what living contentedly meant. Unlike other humans. I could hear our neighbour, a retired 76-year old woman wailing just because the gardener did not do a good job on her pretty and bewitching blood red roses. Anyways, back to the present. One hour after I had woken up the twins were already sitting on the old, patched couch, with their father, waiting impatiently for their mom who took a long time to get ready. I was sitting on my bed beside the twins. I was too used to this scenario. As every Sunday the Anistons had a ritual of going on a picnic. We took a delectable breakfast for a picnic in the garden. A Beautiful place with laughing kids, swings, slides and happiness. This is where the mother of the twins had found me, when I was a kitten. And then after what seemed like a million years, we were at the park sitting in the bright sun with leaves a shade of orange, that marked the beginning of the season I loved the most, Autumn. With a breeze that moved the plants, all swaying. The surroundings are filled with happiness and so beautiful that it could enchant you. With shrubs and animals all speaking and chattering to each other gladly. Even the twins who were grumpy because of their hunger settled down and were mesmerised by the beauty of nature. And as though the pretty sight had energised them they winked at each other and ran off to throw the leaves in the air and lying on the. Seeing them their parents joined them too. Even I went with them, all giggling and chuckling happily. And this was just a perfect day in my life with the people I loved the most.
