And Finally We Met...!

I never met her in my life of ten years. But I was quite firm that I should meet her. I was not a shy girl, still, as the moment approached, my heart sank deep down my body. I was not sure whether she looked like me. But Aunt Jane always described her as a replica of me when she shouted at me for being a burden on their family. 

There, a girl a year or more than me came and stood before me. Dressed in very simple attire, she approached the table on which I was waiting. My eyes met hers! This moment gave me a mixed feeling of anxiety, some happiness, and fear. There she stood, my elder sister! 

When I was two, and my elder sister Rose was a little elder, we were traveling to our native place with our parents. Unfortunately, our car met an accident! This changed our lives completely. Our parents left us all alone in the care of our relatives. Our father's brother was not in a condition to raise us together. This financial crisis broke us apart. I was left with my Uncle and Aunt Jane, and being an elder one who can manage it on his own, Rose was sent to a place they called a charitable school. But for sure, the love and care her tender heart yearned for was taken away from Rose. And I lived with my Uncle's family under their dominance. But after all, I escaped from their trap and taking all possible risks found my elder sister's residence.

After so many years, we saw each other! A cute and motherly smile came on Rose's face. She very well knew who was waiting for her! She came and threw her arms around me. How badly I wanted this warmth! I hugged her tightly and my inner feelings got their way to express through tears. 

Besides our paths diverged, the Destiny wanted us together and finally, we met...!
