Once there was a village in Guatemala, where the people farmed animals such as cattle and goats. The farmers protected their animals from predators by placing fences around the village. But one day, a farmer name Alex discovered that two of his cattle were lying dead on the ground. Alex was shocked but he wasn't the only one shocked another farmer name Joseph found that his three goats were dead in the barn. This carried on for two weeks until the farmers complained to the village Chief Jack.

Chief Jack called a hunter. His name was Bogo. The chief Jack called Bogo to kill the animal. Bogo was a very famous hunter outside the village. then the hunter Bogo asked the farmers for the description of the animal. One of the farmers said, "We don't know. The animal was very cunning . We check for any holes in the fence, but we didn't find any".

Alex made up an animal in the mind to tell Bogo that the creature was massive as a Jaguar. But suddenly Bogo asked " If the animal was that huge, why there aren't any holes in the fences?.". Alex was silent Bogo decided to stay for the night and gathered some villagers with him. The villagers sat outside with the sticks all night long.

Next day, Bogo asked the farmers to bring the animal carcasses to him. He examined the carcass and found something interesting. There was no blood in any of the carcasses when he cut and open the animals neck. He also noticed two bites marks on the goats body. The Bogo decided to continue his search in the jungle. He then found a cave and went inside. Bogo found hundreds of bats. he recognized them as "Vampire bats". They sucked blood from their victims.

Now Bogo finally understood what was going on. Before the night fall Bogo reached the village and went inside the barn. After a few minutes, Bogo saw the bats coming through the gaps in the roofing. He caught a bat and called out all villagers and showed them the bat.

The chief Jack said "These bats aren't found in this area. They might had migrated to here from the north." .but the farmers still couldn't understand. "How a tiny bat could kill a cow". Bogo explained that "Vampire bats drink blood, the cattle and goats died because of blood loss".

The next day the farmer fixed the holes and gaps in the barn. The chief Jack, Alex, Joseph and other farmers in the village thanked him for his help. The chief Jack gave him a bag of wheat and corn have a gift. After this incident, the villagers never had to deal with a problem like this ever again.

The moral of the story is that don't believe in rumors find out the truth by searching the truth.
