A Trip To The Moon

Every kid has his/her own imagination of the moon. Some imagine it as their best friend to whom they can share their secrets, some think it as a cute glowing toy. It depends on our imagination and creativity. Here comes a story of a kid who wishes for a small picnic on the moon. Will her wish come true?? Let's find out then......

Chapter 1 The wish

"Tina, it's time for bed, go to your room," said Tina's Mom.

"Ok mummy" replied Tina as she rushed to her room. 

Tina is 7 yrs old. She is a naughty girl who likes to do the opposite thing of what her parents tell her. But this time she obeyed her mom. It is because she is going to have a picnic today. It's already 10 pm now and the moon has been glowing today brighter than ever. Since it is a full moon day it never appeared as a night time rather it appeared like a day. Tina eagerly sat on her bed and opened the window to see her favorite picnic spot. She loves the moon a lot. Yesterday she had a dream. In that, a cute little fairy came to her room and asked her a wish. To which Tina told her wish of having a picnic on the moon. The fairy accepted her wish and told her that at tomorrow's night her wish would be granted. 

 

Chapter 2 The Picnic

 As Tina enthusiastically waited for the fairy to come, there was a sudden glow of light before her window. And here comes the fairy from her dream. The fairy cast a spell with her magical wand and within a fraction of a second stood a cute medium-sized rocket before Tina. It was well enough to fit Tina inside. Not thinking even for a second Tina hopped in. 

And...... BANG................ HUSH......... HUSHHHH..........

The rocket went off and disappeared among the twinkling stars. The moon was not too far and also the rocket was too fast that they reached the moon within a few minutes. Once the rocket landed on the moon Tina jumped out and squealed in delight as she was jumping higher and higher. Then after playing a few games with the fairy, they prepared a tea party there. The fairy made all the toys of Tina to come alive and they all enjoyed the tea party. After a while, slowly the moon started to descend as the sun started rising. So the fairy and Tina returned home. The fairy made Tina's toys to return back to the normal state. The fairy bade goodbye to Tina and she vanished all of a sudden with the rocket. Tina was so exhausted as she drifted off to sleep. The next day she told the picnic event to everyone. Everyone thought that that must be a dream but they didn't confront Tina about it as they wished her to be happy with what she believes. But to Tina it's real. It is really really really a real one.
