Right in your eyes, I can’t see

My eyes are closed 

In my dreams, I am battling my fears to see you safe

In the covers, you wait for me

But I can touch you with only my soul

My body is dead, my heart is cold, my eyes are open, staring in the sky

But my soul can see you from the stars

I may not be the one with you in body

But my spirit will always be with you, guiding you through your sorrows

Mountains and rivers can’t stop me, but your sad feelings can hurt my soul

I am in your dreams

I am in your sorrows

My words are in your time

My soul is in your space

I am in your songs

But I am too far away from your eyes, from your words

I am in my world

Where I can give you no space but only my life whenever you ask

For if I die for you, you will live for others

And others will live because of you

You cannot reach out to me

Because I won’t look back and also because I can’t 

I have gone too far away from you just to see you safe

My passion is deep, but my heart is hollow

I can not feel my heart to see your passions and your sorrows

I must move on with only a thought of you in my heart

 I must not look back or I will never see you again

Until I have done what I have set out to do

Once that I did many eons ago and now only in my thoughts

You will read my thoughts and hate me for them

But when the deed is done, you will see yourself in my eyes and see me with your eyes

The way you wanted to see me as a whole, in living body and soul

Mountains and rivers cannot stop me 

But you calling me names with tears in your eyes will hurt me more

But they never seem to hurt me because I don’t use my heart to see your passions

I will always be with you, in spirit and soul, if not, in mind and body

Your tears are enough to make me fear you

Which no weapon can ever do
