You're Poetry

You're poetry. That being said, now the pages of my notebook feel blanker than ever and me too full of thoughts to think of words to describe the colours that melt like a wax candle inside my head when I think of you.

You're the poem I won't be able ever be able to write. The poem that brews constantly in my head but when I sit down to write and try to sort my thoughts into explainable bits, I end up giving up and stick to containing them inside me, happily.

You're the poem no one will ever be able to decipher the true meaning of, for you're artistic beyond a human's comprehensive abilities.

Some words can't ever be written. Some emotions can't ever be expressed by any possible combination of the twenty-six letters. You just know they're there. That's love, in my case. My love for you.

You're the metaphor for the hurricanes that arise inside my chest when I extend my arm but don't find you beside me when I open my eyes as the shadow of dawn wraps me up in its arms.

You're the metaphor for sunshine I wake up everyday for and even on the days I can't see/feel it, I know it exists and is just hiding somewhere behind the clouds and shall eventually snuggle me and give me the solace I'd been yearning for all that time. 

You're poetry. My poetry. The words that belong to my heart. The words I wouldn't wanna share with the world and hence, the ones I wanna keep safe in my arms forever.
