Why Do Conversations Stop?

I often wonder why conversations stop. 

Midway. 

You say something and they say something and then you laugh and they laugh. 

And that's it. 

Sometimes it's your turn to continue the chat, but instead of saying the textual equivalent of 'aur bata' you type nothing. 

And then they type nothing. 

And a minute turns into an hour and now it's too late. 

You realize your mistake. 

You should have written something. 

But the truth is,

if you had to say something you would have. 

If they had to write something they would have. 

There are no games in friendship or love. 

The reason conversations stop is because now you don't have much to say to each other. 

Your relationship has changed. 

And it's not a sad thing.

It just is.
