Wait A Minute, Sun !

Wait A Minute, Sun !

As the shadows of evening grow bigger,

And as darkness engulfs the earth!

Moon is not yet out to play with the stars,

And sky is still sullen,

Wait for a minute, O Sun!

Do not disappear so quickly,

There is a dearth of life that you spread!

Let the little birds sleep in their nests

And animals in their shelter,

Let humans heave a sigh of relief,

When peace is all around,

Then you go home, and rest

To return next morning, with heaps full of zest!
