Unicorns

Magical beautiful, mystical creatures full of love and magic.

The sounds of their songs are unique and romantic.

Some can fly, jump and dance,

In the moonlight they all like to prance.

Lay hidden in the valley below,

The unicorns gather with their horns all a glow.

On a big rock nearby standing proud and tall,

Is the most enchanting unicorn that stands out from them all.

She quite the sight-the prettiest I've seen,

All others bow before their unicorn queen.

She rears back and let's out a cry,

Together the unicorns pray to the sky.

Flowing as one with wondrous Grace,

The unicorns travel from place to place.

Searching the fields filled with blossoming flowers,

A place to eat, play and dance for hours.

In the peaceful valleys, the unicorns roam,

This mystical place is the unicorns home

Of her beauty and many victories, songs and ballads were written

Her suitors were many princes and lords, all of them were smitten

But she preferred he

r beloved dragon Altos who she rode with pride

The color of the clouds, a snow white dragon she rode astride

The war with the army of the underground had reached epic portions

Jealous of the castle in the clouds and they’re rich diamond fortunes

They launched an attack with their fire dragons and riders

With their army of dragons who breathed fire left no survivors

They were blood thirsty, killed and burned without conscious

Their king an evil Lord down below eaten up by greed ambitious

He challenged the warrior princess to a fight with a great price

If he won the diamonds were his and she would become his wife

Strata took the challenge and gathered up her sky rider legions

Straddling Altos she flew like the wind down to the lower regions

She made a magnificent sight long silver hair behind her blowing

sword, armor, shield reflected by the sun, appeared to be glowing

The legions hit the ground fast raining lightning arrows down

Strata was looking to kill from the crowd, the one who wore the crown

She guided Altos who swooped in with ice-cold wind from his wings

He put out the fires of the dragons for he was lead dragon, he was a king

Strata dropped down with sword in hand she cleaved her way to the Lord

While her legion of dragon soldiers made quick work of the fire horde

Strata smote the lord and dispersed his army while her dragons breathed,

freezing the fire dragons till they cracked into pieces, victory achieved

There were celebrations through the lands with the elves, dwarves, and men

For they too had suffered from the evil Lords rule now they were safe again

So if you look up one day and see a cloud that looks like a dragon,

It could Altos guarding from above with Strata his loyal companion
