Ulysses

Ulysses

Ulysses, you said it.....

Through the thick and thin-

You were my cool breeze,

The decades I want in,

To the flayers of my life to ooze.

I swayed that wild,

In the stormy wind,

To exist for the world,

To enjoy the blood,

To gape for that latitude,

To breathe in my stifling esse,

Then they said you live,

To me, I existed.

The scary nights,

Flopped travels,

Pessimistic thoughts,

The bank of negatives

I spared me for it!

Those squeezing duties

Turning me a machine.

To me, I existed!

The Cupid's arrow-

Chased me incessantly;

And stronger they grow,

Made me more ignorant.

I did past my life

I

ate, feed, play awful

To my austerities!

I existed, but now -

I reneged my world,

To the moments to renew

The dull to bold!

I came forth experience,

To the lap of virtues immense.

I relive my childhood,

Being thy naughty kid!

I want my travelogue to take me later,

To know the pulse of endurance,

To undertake thy abundance.

I play with you,

I sleep with you,

I eat your part of the food,

I satisfy my love for you,

As the conscience to feed,

The soul to rebuild,

Mind to be in blithe,

I swing to reach you,

To know you,

So that I could settle me,

Now to me I live,

Making death jealous!
