In golden skies your journey begun

A radiating luminary, the day's warm sun

In the blue canvas, you take flight, 

Igniting the heavens with golden light. 

A fiery chariot in it's daily height, 

Chasing shadow, banishing the night. 

Have you seen the moon? 

The one up, when you are gone. 

Bathed in silver, a celestial swan, 

A guardian through the night, until the dawn. 

I'm your absence, it's glow is drawn, 

The silent company, when you are withdrawn.
