The Twilight Promise

In the wild willows

Does the wind blow

In the meadow beside

Where the river flows

I hear a voice

I hear a cry

Which always saves

"To save us alive

Before we die"

I saw a puppy crying 

And pleading to God

"For this you saved us? 

For this you sent Noah? 

Better to die in peace, 

Instead seeing this. 

You made man mortal

But we are suffering from fatal

We seek love and care

The affection we share

Science is all around 

Knowledge has spread

But why people are still cutting

Trees for their bread? 

Icebergs have melted 

Global warming has spread

Burning the willows

Is still something left?"

Touched by the plight of animals

I tried to resolve his problem first.

I shouted, "I've come here to help"

He stared at me 

But I glance at him

In the twilight night 

I promise ld to fight for him.

To care about both

Our kingdom and their kingdom
