The Gift Beyond Measure
The Gift Beyond Measure
Once upon a time, so small was I,
I dreamt of a gift for my mom, oh my!
A treasure more precious than stars in the night,
A symbol of love, pure and bright.
From dawn till dusk, across the lands,
I searched for a gift crafted by hands.
Through forests deep and mountains high,
In valleys low and the endless sky.
I wandered through the realms of earth,
Through hell and heaven, seeking worth.
But none could match the heart so kind,
The love so pure, in her I’d find.
She is the jewel of my life’s crown,
Her smile lifts me when I am down.
No gift on earth or in the skies above,
Could ever match her boundless love.
The world holds not a single thing,
To match the joy her presence brings.
For she’s the most priceless, rarest gem,
A queen without a diadem.
And so I learned, as time flew by,
The greatest gift, no gold can buy.
For in her arms, I found my peace,
A love that never seems to cease.
So here’s my gift, though small it be,
My heart, my love, eternally.
For no material gift can ever impart,
The worth of a mother’s loving heart.
