A Mother's Unmatched Radiance
A Mother's Unmatched Radiance
Once upon a time, in days of yore,
A tiny child with dreams to soar.
I wished to gift my mother dear,
A token of love, to bring her cheer.
Across the globe, I roamed so far,
Beneath the sea, and to the stars.
In shadowed depths and skies so blue,
I sought a gift as pure and true.
From dawn till dusk, through night and day,
I traveled wide on my hopeful way.
Yet nowhere did I find a thing,
To match the joy her love could bring.
She is the light that guides my path,
Her warmth dispels the coldest wrath.
No treasure found in earthly troves,
Could rival her, the one who loves.
In heaven's vault or under earth,
No gem can measure her true worth.
She is the moon, the sun, the sea,
Her love, the world, and more, to me.
Through all the realms I did explore,
I learned a truth worth much, much more:
No gift of gold, no diamond bright,
Could mirror her enduring light.
So I offer up my humble heart,
A piece of me, a lifelong part.
For in her grace, I've come to see,
The greatest gift is simply... me.
