The Floating lantern

The Floating lantern

2 mins

Decked with sparklers the sky shimmer,

 the divine night tantalized by,

Yellow lights cascaded drew lines of joy,

The smoking wisp of blues and gray danced over the

silver crescent peek through tufts of primrose blinked bright.

Emancipated into the delights of sempiternal love,

celebrate the glee of festival of lights,

Nauseated aromas of heavenly desserts tumbled down the door

as the hot air from the diyas touch my henna-stained fingers,

Eyes brimmed in tears to the surrounding merriment that

brought up those nostalgic golden days.

Caught and crashed for the moment was of little heavy weighted

for the heart bound by the limitless promises cried once more,

Splashed colors on the purple haze sky gave a glimpse of us how

we ignited the lantern of our love and let them soar into the solemn sky,

aah such a spectacular magical view the night had brought to from after the sunsets.

Basked in the flavors of festive night heart pulsated and

roared for your warmest embrace,

Hidden pain somewhere in the closet of crackers

but couldn't lit up because heart had a fear to had lost you forever.

Lanterns floated to an unknown universe dropped an elixir of love and

instigated seeds of feeling for someday

I would look back and relish the moments of togetherness

in cheerful moonlight, temples cladded with garlands and small lamp lights kept away the mundane days

what could had shredded the happiness from her face.

Fireworks streamed in the sky settled in our adorable image forever

portrayed our wishes through a breathtaking silence

and rather the miracle happens,

fantasized hand over hand walking to the end where the moonbeams

and the cosmos enamored our flourished happiness.

Unspoken whispers unheard all once again,

moved on with the giggles and grins

but you still somehow managed to entwined,

dipped in the aesthetic fragrances of festivities indulged into the taste of sweets.

A perfect synchrony of moonlight on sleeves of holy night,

paddled through the illuminating hues,

A piece of peace swept the bustling mind, transfixed in mellifluous tones,

Eyes smiled to the vibrant night.
