The birth of a child begets ecstasy

Surviving a living here is not easy

The child is compelled to talk

When all it wanted was a silent walk

What comes naturally is curbed

Fake personality is donned

The school buries it with social norms

All it wanted was protection from cruel arms

The road is already designed for you

Which is ready to steal the privacy from you

Uncompassionate ones deplete serotonin from you

All they want is to see the depressed you

Entangled in the conspiracy hatched by the society

You will have to trade gaiety for anxiety

If you continue to be a wet blanket

You will be kicked out of the social bracket

Clinging to the truth makes them go, rogue,

They only believe in things that are in vogue

They don't accept dissent voice

They go to any extent to snatch your voice

They consider being different a bad omen

But they don't realize their mind is barren

They expect everyone to be their boot lickers

One day they will realize they are a bunch of jokers

The sense of freedom sprouts within you

The power of introspection defines you

The day comes when you realize your worth

And what is forced upon you is a myth
