Social Life, An Irony!

Spawns of a flawed generation,

Demand Love and Seek attention.

Loose cannons with no direction,

Oft driven by predilection.

Scant regard and no affection,

Spare no thoughts or emotion.

Lacking Foresight or Compassion,

Nation split in many a fractive faction.

Selfies being the sole occupation,

Narcissus gazing own reflection.

Most driven by sheer machination,

No originality, ah, the damnation!

Likes, loves denote appreciation,

Social Network promotes suffocation.

Social lives brought to cessation,

Of their lives losing possession.

Mere Lip Service takes domination,

Truly is doomed this Creation?

Silences many, lost in translation.

Noises numerous ever in transition.

Pain beckons, without invocation.

How are we to find salvation?
