So Different, Yet So Connected
So Different, Yet So Connected
Her life style was so different than his
She loves feeding people, even the beggars,
He believes in working rather than begging.
She preferred imperfect over perfect
Why? Because she can try and turn it into perfect
He wanted every thing to be perfectly done.
For her it was all about learning in whatever you do
For him it was all about shortcuts,
Why? You could get the desired results faster.
Her moto was "Everyone will die one day, so why not live life to its fullest"
His moto was "Everyone has only life, so why not make full use of it -- Hit the gym, go to work and cone back to sleep"
Being serious was never a part of her to do list
He was as serious as a statue could be
She believed "If a lie can hold a relationship, I'll tell thousands if the need arises"
He believed "I don't care how ugly the truth is, the bitter truth should be said."
They were opposites, just like the poles of a magnet
But they didn't realize that opposite poles of a magnet attract each other
One was the sky
Ready to burst into anger with raindrops falling on the ground.
The other was the ground,
Green, rough and flat.
They forgot the fact that once the raindrops touched the ground, its skin softens.
They weren't aware of the fact that the sky is nothing without a stable ground --
They weren't aware that they needed each other
Just like the sky and the ground.
They were both different,
Like the Sun and the Moon
Just like we need the darkness of the Moon,
We also need the bright light of the Sun.
They were so different yet so connected.
They needed each other
She thought he was too ambitious,
He thought she was too relaxed.
He lacked patience, she had it in abundance,
She was emotional and expressive,
He was as she would call him 'a workaholic'.
He followed a strict routine,
She believed in having a flexible one,
They were so different, yet so connected.
He was intelligent and egocentric,
She was a genius and quick,
She thought him to be too cocky,
He thought her to be too witty,
But together they were the perfect seasoning --
Salt and Pepper
They were so different,
Yet together they were perfect.
He's tall, she short
Shes's talkative, he's silent
He's mature, she's childish
She's caring, he's careless
He likes creating memories,
She likes capturing them
He bursts into anger, she softens
She cries, he breaks
He shouts, she listens
She screams, he feels the pain
He smiles, she falls more and more
She laughs, he smiles.
He sings, she blushes
She blushes, his heart beat increases.
They were so different yet so connected.
