She Stood Still.

 

Against all the turbulence of life.                                                                                                              

 Times tempted her to run away,                                                                                                               

 Far from the injustice & violence                                                                                                               

Of health, wealth, peers and companions.

                   She stood still.                                                                                                                               

 Anticipating.                                                                                                                                           

Someday, life will stop it's atrocities,                                                                                                        

 Surround her with reasons to smile. 

She knocked down,                                                                                                                               

The persistent obstacles that confronted her,                                                                                        

 Craving for a beautiful morning                                                                                                                

 When things would be mended                                                                                                                 

Life would be a blend of joy & love!!!
