Sea Beach

This holiday we went to a beach,

Ever wondered what she wanted to teach?

Wonderful life lessons the sea could preach.

The wave comes with all its might,

Knocks you off hard and tight,

Just like failures and successes in your life.

When the wave recedes from the shore,

It takes away the sand making our feet sore,

So does nostalgia at our hearts' core.

Children laugh and clap when waves break,

Ignorance and simplicity makes tough times a piece of cake,

They remind you to relax and take a break.

Our names that we write on the wet sand,

Get washed away again to become a blank,

So would our existance on this land.

Yet we teach kids to build castles of all types,

Dreams are so vital to achieve great heights,

Live your dreams until there are lights.
