Saving The Earth - A Wish or a Resolution?

I brought back with me, wonderful memories from the mountains, 

But I wish I had collected leftover plastics from the valleys and the fountains. 

I couldn’t remember in time when I last filled my lungs with such pure air, 

But I wish I avoided riding a luxurious car, which left the atmosphere in despair. 

I bought a dozen of clothes for my perfect selfies and grabbing attention, But I wish I had avoided pushing the planet’s scarce resources to depletion. 

I thoroughly enjoyed my platter and the offered food’s variety, 

But I wish I could eliminate wastage by ordering only as per my satiety. 

I enjoyed the extra space in my garden, cherishing the mesmerizing mornings, 

But I wish I had saved the trees to avoid scampering for shade in the surrounding.

 I thoroughly enjoy the soothing music shelled out by my vehicle’s Dolby system, 

But I wish I could control my emotions while honking the horn in profusion. 

I have now realized the righteous way to help mother nature’s ecosystem, 

Which is through the transformation of my wishes into a resolution.
