Pulchritude (A Mystery)
Pulchritude (A Mystery)

I love the pulchritude
Of darkness,
And when she beholds me
From her veil,
A magic works on me,
And I run gaplessly to touch her.
As I inch closer,
She jumps from the cliff
Of mountain to the abyss of river.
A captive force imprisons me,
And I fail to get her nearness.
Yes, each day;
She plays hide-and-seek game,
Playing with my emotions,
Not allowing me to embrace her.
Yes, one day,
I will overpower,
Every captive force
And take adieu from
This mortal world,
Jumping from the cliff
Of mountain to sleep
In her lap forever,
And
Her Raven hair will
Cover my face.
